Any good deal on dedicated track tires for 18s
I once found a great deal on relatively decent Federal 595 RSR tires (sub $100) and wondering if anyone has seen a good deal like this lately for 513m wheels? They don't have to be good for daily driving since they will only be for the track. Thanks for any help.

Also stepping up the stock size to this: Front - 275/35R18 Rear - 295/35R18 There are very few tires in that 295 size. Ive looked for Federal 595rsr, Nitto NT01, Nankang CR1 and AR1, Falken Azenis rt615+…. None of them come in this size. Any recommendations?

I totally appreciate the urge to get the most rubber to the ground, but unless you buy different wheels, your going to be better off with 255-265 front and 275-285 rear. I think this will give you more tire options. Plus a 275 tire is happiest on a 10' wheel. If your tracking frequently consider a square set up 10x18 or 10.5x18 square set. |
