New Headlight Coding - Ista States DME needs replaced

My 2018 F80 needed a new passenger headlight w/module. Car is at the shop doing the coding and the technician called me asking about my tune and what I used (BM3). The concern he's having is ISTA is stating something about the DME needs to be replaced. Has anyone seen this in ISTA before when coding? Do you think it'll brick my DME if he continues? I've been talking with Protuning Freaks about the situation and the technician is trying to do some research before he attempts the coding.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with ISTA wanting to upgrade all modules and is seeing the DME has a different software due to the tune.

Best way is to use E-Sys.
Go away from this place - it's easy to handle with just a coding of headlights, not the whole car which they want to do. Your tune will go away as well, you'll end up with locked DME (will need unlock on bench).

Contact us if you need headlight coding.
