New BM3 Tune
Im pretty hyped as im sure most of you are as well for the new BM3 update. I see bm3 has a new OTS map called "Stage 2 flexfuel multimap" I am currently running the BM3 Stage 2 E30 tune which obv has 30% e85 in it. In the description of the tune it says that "all 4 maps have flex fuel enabled, this requires zeitronix eca2 installed". Do we actually need this? Or is that just to see your ethonol levels? Anyone know?

You need the hardware if you want to utilize flex fuel. They said if you don't have the hardware then the maps will just function as their normal pump gas variant

You can still use the new map switching map without the hardware but you just won't be able to utilize the flex fuel component. However you can't add your E30 tune to it as a switchable map. It appears you're stuck using the 4 maps it says are included in the description. The new map is for people that need the ability to switch between Stage 2 ACN91, 91, 93, and CS while having flex fuel capabilities on each map

I’m sure they could add a bunch more multimap combos too whatever makes sense. Right now I love the new stuff especially antilag, just crushed a built big turbo Evo8 that’s been messing with me for a while used anrilag on a 50 roll

[EDIT: override E% resets when you restart your car, so if you have no E sensor then keep your laptop available]
F82boi is in luck. You CAN use the AntiLag FlexFuel MultiMap without the Ethanol sensor hardware. Just load the map using a laptop and then go into the new LiveAdjust tab and (1) pick the map slot corresponding to your base gas octane [#3 for me...93o gas], and then (2) go into the Flex Fuel sensor and click Override, and then set the slider to your E%. Shut down for 5-10 sec like BM3 usually requires, then start the car. I did this last night to test the release for PTF and am running MultiMap#3 at 30% override. Today I will test AntiLag on the 6MT gearbox, and also try map switch to #4 (still at 30% override). Halim said FlexFuel adapts from E0 gas all the way up to 100% straight Race Ethanol, so we could now run E85 OTS Stage 2 using this map!!! Since the advertised Stage2 MultiMap Dyno shows that it was done with 70% ethanol I'm thinking this is the best E mix for full power without overtaxing HPFPs like E85 does.

Oh cool! So all i have to do is run the Stage 2 Flexfuel antilag multimap tune, select map 2 because highest we have here is 91, then just override ethonol content to 30%? And i will have anti lag feature as well? Car is currently in shop so i can’t just test it out lol. |

I just want to clarify something for you to make sure that you aren't mixing wrong. If you are running 30% E85 to 70% 91/93 like your post suggest, you are not running E30. You are running lower than E30. Just want to make sure you aren't lower than you think on your E content.

I am really curious to see how fast people max out their fueling systems with the true flex fuel tunes. Also curious to see how something like this works with PI since you will likely need it to run full e85

@f82_boi sorry, I tried it today and when you shut off the car the manual override of Ethanol% turns back off. This means you need your laptop before every start (or install the Ethanol sensor and canbus connection).

Yeah they fixed it. I tried getting the old Stage 2 93 OTS map and it now also has antilag! So damn beautiful!

Tunes which i always paid for...are you saying i can simply flash the stage 2 e30 from the ots map and its free? If i dont have the ff sensor do i need to let my 93 get down to almost nothing, fill with e30 with 4.5 gallons and 93 to top then flash? Lastly how much whp would I expect to gain? |

1) which custom tune (tuner and fuel)? 2) do you still have 1 free pay-for map, or the map-pack? BM3 OTS Stg2 E30 map gets you about 525WHP depending on your mods. My ~E30 street fuel mix is 4gals pump E85 (tested 85%) plus 10gals 93 octane to make E31. If your pump E85 tests 75-80% then it's 4gal pump E85 plus 9gals 93 octane to make E30. If you don't have 93 use 91 and do the 4+9 mix with tested E85 to make E33...since the gas has lower octane. PM me direct with fuel mixing questions.

Use with CAUTION as advised in the LiveAdjust screen. Ultimate control/adjustability requires ultimate care in this case. The override is made in such way so it disables and goes to zero when ignition is turned OFF. It is a temporary override to help you not end up stuck in a situation as in the example described above.

For the Stage 1 multimap, does anyone know the setting values of the OTS burbles? Just curious if this will be the same setting as the OTS burble settings for the Stage 1 ACN map.
