Well, suddenly the whole Bimmerpost configuration changed .
Posts and new posts are all written in blue , and the avatar pictures are about 100 % bigger ..
Honestly I never saw this before , It's really hard to find my way through this ..

Can be an issue with the Bimmerpost server . Actually it really s@cks !

EDIT : Shut it OFF and back ON . Seems to be OK , and back to a normal configuration .
It was really strange !

Minimum pressure moved up from 19 to 20psi after P3. Pirelli increased the min psi for a reason, possibly structure degradation after practice with low psi. Was the min spec was too aggressive or is Pirelli suggesting some teams may have been running less than 20 psi (nitrogen filled).

Standardized psi measurement devices makes sense.

Yes . The PSI can be checked by the tyre pressure sensors anyway .
We'll see how it further goes in the coming races ...

It's for sure something is clearly wrong with the Pirelli's ..
If it happens again in the coming races , the race can be red flagged at anytime , concerning the drivers safety !

Crashing by a blown tyre at 300 + km/h is no joke !

Pirelli should assume teams will run minimum pressures, so it should be a safe standard (with a safety cushion).

But I wonder: Pirelli/FIA can still check the pressure in the other tyres with their own calibrated equipment can't they?
So if that other rear tyre and front tyres are within spec, they're not going to run one tyre with a different pressure than the other ones I imagine?

Pirelli's explanation gives me more questions than answers....
And I also think it would be strange that just VER and STR would drive this configuration.

Tire pressures are mandated by Pirelli and are monitored.
In this race pressures were increased from 18 to 19 psi

Yes and yes for both comments .

The issue is : Pirelli won't say , hey ! There's something wrong with our tyres !
Honestly , I've a bad feeling about the whole situation ..
This time Stroll and MAX were very lucky , but it could have been otherwise !

Just wait until next year with the reduced sidewalls on the new 18" wheels. Those tires will be undergoing far more stress than this year.

I agree completely

But , from what we have seen at Baku It's already bad enough ...

I read that and all sorts of things coming out but the tyres are thicker at the blown point so still in the danger zone at maximum speeds...
