What are you driving in the meantime? 86 days sound like forever, but my M4 Welt date isn't going to be until August, which puts me at 138 based on when I think I might pick it up. What are you getting?

I would have gone either way on the E92, just happened to find what I wanted and it had a sunroof. I think in the 2.5 years I owned it, I may have opened it like three times. lol

I think on the F82, the cf breaks up the monotony of the paint. Looking forward to seeing it in person.

You are right about the paint, maybe I will add a CF vinyl wrap. During summer, I open the moonroof almost every day, I don't really like the air conditionning...

Summer in South FL is a bit, toastier, than Montreal. Winter here is when the weather is good for windows down/roof open driving.

do you have another car with i surancd?

word of warning. during my last ED, we sold our car 60 days before ed. we had no car for 60 daya, so no insurance. when i called back up to get insurance, we were treated as brand new drivers. our insurance went up by almost 1000$.this was for every company.

the alternative is to put your insurance on a maintenance plan. its a BS racket. you cant drive, but it keeps u as an insured person...just without actual coverage. again, bs

I have a car through my company, and they cover all expenses. So I called my insurance company and put my plan on hold for two months (State Farm gives you a year). I'll call and have it reinstated in June.
