Alex, hope all is well! Been a couple years since you coded my F80 and my son's! If you recall, we both have JB4's installed. Will we need to remove that to use yours? Also need to hook back up with you, i had my headunit go out and replaced, now it needs to be recoded!

It happens in every mode. I’d say somewhere after or around halfway down the car starts registering 100% throttle, there’s a big kick forward, and at that point the throttle is a boost controller. You can feel the extra pedal travel does do something because there’s another noticeable kick forward if you floor it from that point. It feels as though the factory pedal mapping got shortened or condensed, but I suppose that happens when turbos spool faster. It's just a more dramatic kick than I would expect. Even taking off from a dead stop in efficient you can feel a lot of extra grab. The throttle mapping I had on Stage 2 was perfection, but I understand there's more boost absolutely everywhere now so that affects things.

I’d like a linear 0-100% throttle pedal like I had on Stage 2, but this is a minor blip at the worst. I can understand what having more boost at every throttle position does.
Send me an email with your information let me send you one with throttle adjustments

Just another review raving about how great Alex is.
I've been a customer of his for years and he has never been anything but a pleasure to work with. Just got my tune on Friday and immediately noticed a difference; not even in power but overall driveability. The car is intoxicating to drive now. The car for some reason always felt boring and lacking something until now. Don't even think twice just call Alex.

You can set the JB4 in mode 0, then it's not doing anything (power wise).

Would the car turn back the timing if you ran 91 on the 93 tune, or are you SOL?

What plugs are people running with Alex's stage 1 and stage 2 tunes? Will be buying plugs in prep of a tune so I want to order the correct ones. I have seen debate about OEM vs the NGK's.

I have run the 97506's on my car with Alex's tune and it complements very well. Gapped it down to 0.022. But you will get some idling jolts which is common with gapped plugs. Performance wise, I love them and find it a bit more responsive compared to stock plugs. These NGK's are also 1 step colder which is good for tuned cars but not necessary. If you are on Stage 2 or Stage 2+ (Catted), I think the stock plugs are definitely good enough.

I am on Stage 2+ catless tune and so far everything has been in lack of a better word, PERFECT. And Alex has been really a great guy to deal with time and again despite flashing my car from Stage 2 > Stage 2+ (Catted) > Stage 2+ (Catless)!

Anyone know if the coding for DCT, differential etc can by done by ourselves? Feel kinda bad having to message Alex all the time to code it out when I visit dealer and then code it back in lol...

Just flashed back to stock for last dealer visit before warranty ends and man I don’t know how I drove the car stock for almost 2.5 years. Ever since the time and coding the car feels amazing and sharp; without all of it it’s sluggish boring and honestly not fun to drive.

Hi Alex - Is it possible to enable rev matching with full DSC off in a 2020 M2C through coding? I want it for the track but I don't want DSC on. I know it's possible with a tune but curious if it could be coded.

Alex I can’t thank you enough you Stage 2+ tune in my F80 and stage 2 tune on my E90 are consistent, smooth and a very enjoyable bump in power. No issues at all and I have done countless track, autocross and cruises. Stock plugs and I daily the car to work. Never gave me any issues! I’ll be doing a full review shortly! But here is a little something to show that Alex tune is very stout, but I’m happy to know this car is as smooth as OEM and the delivery of power is so consistent. Funny thing I never bought this tune for power, but more for reliable addition in power. I’ve driven countless tunes and I think Alex has a sick package for the price! Anyway, skip forward in the video but I ran my buddy’s Huracan and the results are very surprising haha. He had an M4 so he wasn’t very surprised haha. He owns a NSX and Huracan and still wants to add another M4 to his stable. Anyway, Enjoy! Review coming soon!

Any issues with running stage 2+ with stock downpipes other than the restriction of the cats not giving optimal power?
