sorry for the dumb question but I had this coded as well - how do I turn this feature on? Is it automatically activated when the headlight knob is turned to "A"?

No, it is not. There are 2 push buttons on the left turn signal stalk. Upper one is the on board computer which toggles between the range, mpg, etc. The lower one is the adaptive head lights.

When your headlights are turned on either auto or manually, push this button on your stalk and you will see an icon on your ic that has the headlight graphic and an "A" next to it. that indicates it is on.

You will then see your headlights fluctuate and adapt to the road. Sometimes it takes a couple minutes.

This is really incredible! Thanks for the info guys. I would love to have this coded, are you kidding me! It's a large part of why I got the lighting package and did not know it was deactivated on us spec cars. Wow! I don't need LED halogens, no thanks. I need the adaptive part too.

It's awesome, it puts on quite a show when activated. Really cool seeing your headlights work independently to alter the shape of the light.

Is there a video of what this is and how is it different than adaptive high beams?

So you need LED light package and drivers assistance package to properly euro code the lights?

That has been my impression. I think there is a bigger better camera that does the speed limit detection and the euro adaptive lights. Pill pusher mentioned this when he remote coded my car.

How about just the side and top view cameras option? would love to have this coded when I get my car but I really don't want to spend $1900 on the drivers assistance package.
