I had swapped a motor but forgot to install #3 (cam lobes that activate and open up the HPFP) & obviously it gave me codes and I ended up figuring it out . Then I installed them , cleared codes and it was fine but they still stayed as a permanent code , super annoying and don’t know what to do. The codes are P12D0 & P12D1 . Does anyone know if I drive a certain distance it will clear ? Because I’m not able to smog the car with the codes . CEL isn’t on either .
Or maybe the HPFP’s got damaged while I when I drove/started the car without the cam lobes ? |
