Thank you, I ended up purchasing it without seeing it in person but tried to do the utmost vigilance outside of it. I believe many people were busy with the holidays to worry about it.

Was your purchase a private party sale or from a dealership? Seems to be very few private party sales these days.

It was from a dealership. The previous owner traded it in for a c8 corvette z06.

A bump above what it was purchased on BaT for a few months ago. Still a great example but missing the acid orange lower lip.

Sure it needs a battery but otherwise, seems pretty nice.

Edit: Ooops that's the theft recovery one. Still though, $75k doesn't seem too bad

Battery fixed and I did some digging on this car.. prev owner left the key in it and someone took it for a joy ride. No damage, no paint.

The damage reported was bc prev owner wanted locks changed. I have the RO that shows work done with dates matching incident on CF.

Do you guys think this is a fair deal? I can get it for low 60s (I know the GM)

I think low 60s is pretty good personally, as long as you're OK with knowing the fact that it might be more difficult to sell it in the future. But if you have the proper documentation, I don't think you'll lose money on it!

The fact that you have a physically clean GTS for the same price as an F87 M2 Competition is pretty mind blowing.

The oily/wax film on all the surfaces? My F87C was also like that, I guess that's their idea of detailing.

their detail dept is horrible.. The one issue with the car is that it looks like its never been detailed/waxed etc. The paint is oxidized alllll over and theres brown dirt around all the trim/moldings as if its been collecting dust for years... Even the gel on the roof has like hard water stains and stuff.. It'll come out, but will definitely take elbow grease.

the first thing with that car would be to bring it to a good detail shop for a deep clean and PPF.

Unreal! Well...I guess if someone pays $60k ish it's a good value if you keep it long-term.

I can grab it for $65k.. I'm just torn... several k more one without a history and cleaner.... but 2x-3x the miles.

There's one for 75k with 15k miles. Clean CF, 3 owners..

If your intention is to keep forever or track it then I think the theft recovery one is a great option. My car will be arriving in San Diego today! Still wont arrive to Honolulu until late February.
