I can imagine and agree. Is the NG deployed to help with security etc? Even fully staffed/mandatory OT, I can’t imagine LE has the resources for that large of an area.

The Guard helps with road closures, yes, but they don’t have police powers. We still have the crime suppression responsibilities.

Both areas are dealing with looters. Lots of arrests have been made as well.

Called me surprised, my "rear" cam was actually an... interior infrared camera facing back. *Cough* And good heavens the AGM battery is heavy AF. Was able to hold the AG battery with one hand, AGM? Ha.

I started the 5V BW and went for a quick test drive and you could tell the manual wan’t an afterthought. Plus GMs V8s have so much character. I wanted to stay MT so there obviously isn’t many options. I looked at a C8 Z06 again, which my fat ass, plus old ass knees don’t agree with that cramped cabin and egress. Also looked at a beautiful Giulia QV. Good ol Alfa dealer though thought it was gold and people will flock to pay for them before they are gone if you get my drift. Here are pics of them. Both gorgeous in different ways.

The final nail was I preferred driving my wife’s X5 M60 over the MT M2.

Great explanation, thank you. Haven't had a chance to drive a G87 or a 6MT S58 yet, but what you say makes sense. Just curious, did the gear ratios in combination with the S58's power curve annoy you?

I've been a 6MT guy my whole life (3 out of 4 of my current M's have pedals), but after driving the GTS, I just can't help but think DCT/8ZF just work/pair better with these turbocharged engines.

P.S. The G05 LCI I had for a while is still one of my favorite DD's. It just does everything so well, and it was "only" the I6 and not V8. I miss that car.
