I know. It's rhetorical. I'm making a point that it has to do with the white color. I saw another thread on F30post mentioning the back up camera issue a while back.

I have the same problem. Must be the camera trying to auto compensate the exposure since the white bounces all the light back to it.

Sir Loin, do you have any problem with your back-up camera at night. I have SS in production and I am just wondering if this could be a problem for me.

The dealer could have waxed over the camera during their prep. The kids they have doing this is the kind of person that will do that. I always tell the dealer not to even wash the car, let alone their idea of "detailing".

Cheers.

I wouldn't say the picture isn't clear as much as the camera isn't very good at night. Compared to my current car (still waiting on re-delivery), The picture at night is very dark, I lose a lot of detail in shadows.

Because most of us (me at least) can't drive the way the car needs to be driven so internet it is!

Lol we get along nowadays just fine! I stopped screaming at her, and she just reads my texts. Now I'm lost more than ever since no nav at all and I just love it!

maybe there is some sort of foil covering the cam (for protection while shipping) and the dealership forgot to remove it?

It's not possible that people are that dumb. Cleaning it is the first thing that people would think of. Re-read the post again! Reading comprehension, my friend.... reading comprehension.

I can guarantee that there are a ton of people questioning your cognitive abilities in this thread alone. Not to mention your overall mental health of late. With your low post count, recent start date, and overall abrasiveness, I have no choice but to assume you are a return banee coming back for revenge on an otherwise peaceful forum.

Well, it seems that the color of my car which is Alpine White has a lot to do, I just made a test, with the lights off, the camera gives a decent image, but when I turn the lights on (that includes the rear license plate lights) the brightness of the rear bumper makes the background totally dark, so it is totally right that the white color is influencing the camera at night.....thats a big miss from BMW

That was not your story. You said that the M4 is an 80k car and should come standard with full leather. People made the point that you could get the M4 for less than 80k with full leather. My M4 has full leather and my price out the door was 74k

unfortunately, you completely misunderstood what was written. It is obvious that you can get the M4 for < 80k with full leather. I don't think anybody would argue that.

So what exactly did you mean when you wrote:

Did you mean and $80K OTD car should come with Full Leather standard as well as Exec Pkg and CCBs? If you did, you certainly didn't write it that way. I think we are all failing at mind reading comprehension.
