I would go for the AMG GT or a new 911 Carerra S. 0-60 in 3.1 fucking seconds for a RWD!!!

I built both out in the $120k range. The new turbo("non-turbo") 911s are monsters!

GT-R? What an ugly, bloated, car that isn't even satisfying to drive. It's outdated and if I wanted a car that's boring to drive and does insane 0-60s, I would go P100D. Plus I don't want to attract 15-yo boys.

Now the question is does the z06 have more power than I actually need? I also live in Miami and I'm a bit worried with everything I've heard regarding the overheating issues. I was thinking of just doing a GS and Doug some boltons. It'll be quick enough to keep up with the M4.
Seems like c7z limp mode was during hot ambient temp track days. Street should be fine. Yea absolutely it's too much power for street but so what? Power is great

get a base c7z with few options. You won't need the z07 pack for street only

I like the 911 idea but would personally not get a new 991.2 for $100k+. I'd get a 997 gt3 or 991.1 gts (cars with a shot at appreciation) or a fully depreciated car like 996.2 TT (what I got after my f80) or 997.1TT

If that car checks out, that sounds like a steal! (Or maybe just a sign of the market slumping... I haven't seen a low mile 997.1TT under $100k since early panda.

Damn - I didn't check the post date! Yeah, 2017 was a completely different world. I would have bought anything and everything I could have back then, knowing what the market became in 2021 and 2022.... Enjoy all the cars, and get richer selling them off.

Now onto the dilemma. I have no clue what to get next!! I don't need the rear seats so I'm pretty open to whatever car. As I look at cars though I can't find anything I'd prefer over my M4 in its price range. I plan on buying a house this year so I don't want to spend too much money on my next car. I do want something fun, relatively comfortable within sport car standards and close in speed to my JB4 M4. If anyone has any suggestions on cars they've driven and liked I'd love to hear it.
I have been looking at older Ferrari from Ferrari dealer and there are some absolutely incredible cars there in and around the $100-140k range.

I mean, really nice stuff from what I can see. I prefer Ferrari to lambo myself, so I guess that’s what I would do. If I could be sure that the car wasn’t hiding something terrible that would cost me a fortune… I’d really consider any of them. The 328 GTS still looks amazing to my eyes.
And yes, I’d play the magnum pi theme every time I got in it.

I’ve probably said that before lol, but I love Ferraris.
They are all gorgeous.

360 Modena for $104k… it’s absolutely gorgeous!
$27k miles.

There’s lots of great stuff there, some really low miles.
You got a good chance of them increasing in value if you drive it only on weekends.

I have a list of cars that I was shopping pre-pandemic that I held off because I didn't know if I would even have a job. One was a nice NA1 NSX for $46k thats probably close do double the price now.

That's rough. You may get a second shot at it if the car market free fall continues. On a certain level, it would be cool to be able to afford them again, but on a practical level, I'm not sure I want to see what the pain to the greater economy would have to be to get back to that point.

Either way, good luck, and I hope it works out for you to be able to get something like that again (even if it is through something silly like lottery or whatever).

Do you have someone to do the work on it? Makes it night and day. If you are relying on a dealer, ouch!!!

Might get another shot soon with the way things are going with the economy

I haven’t been on the forums in a minute… how has your 7TT been treating you?

Never got the 7TT! Ended up keeping the M3 CS than getting a G82 M4 Comp X-Drive! In the market soon for something fun and used though. E46 M3, Cayman GTS, NSX.... 7TT if the price is right, but thats a shot in the dark.

Those are all cool ideas.

I put my 6TT on BaT earlier this year and basically got back my purchase price and maintenance costs (ie “free” 6TT for 5 years)

Hope you find what you’re looking for!
