So does this tune come with a warranty or not?

I have four BM3 tunes (Stage1/Stage2 each with/without Burble) and the BM3 programmer. I sent my ECU in to get "unlocked" a couple of years ago. I also have the original factory tune (which will re-lock the ECU) and an unlocked factory tune.

My 2016 F82 is used primarily on the track. Is the high power Carbahn tune suitable for extended use (20 minute track sessions) or just for the occasional launch from traffic lights?

Can I use the Carbahn Tunes and Flasher interchangeably with the BM3 Tunes and Flasher? (Can I go back and forth)?

Thanks in Advance!

This tune is compatible with ZCP F8x cars, but I'll have to confirm the exhaust burble question.

Be interested in a F85 tune also, as the OEM warranty is now backed for a $1,000 premium compared to the other flash tuners, but worth the price due to piece of mind.
We are in the world of OBDII Flash Tunes, now.

That question has been asked 3-4x in this thread alone with word for word posting off their website yet they continue to avoid this question... interesting.

The specific page for the F8x tune mentions only a 2-year product warranty.

https://carbahnautoworks.com/product...e-f80-f82-f83/

"Features:

The smooth power flash tuner can upload your stock file for safe keeping, read and clear faults. It can receive software updates from your PC emailed to you by CarBahn. These files can be free updates or increased performance tunes that to match hardware upgrades you purchase from CarBahn. The software comes with a two-year product warranty."

I believe it's a warranty just for the software product not for the car. In other words, I don't think that 2-year warranty would cover the car if something goes wrong or is failed due to the tune.

I'm with you, that's what I think it is as well but their website has the same warranty that Dinan used to offer. "We match your factory warranty" is a lot different than 2 year product warranty.. Regardless, question has been ducked

I was thinking the same thing as I was going through the thread. Whether it's offered or not, it should be a simple yes or no and with additional clarification.

For this price they better warranty the car and replace tires for free as well.

Maybe just give them a chance to answer your question? Steve Dinan and his team are the real deal. I dropped off my F10 M5 at Carbahn not too long ago for their full suspension upgrade kit and I couldn't be happier with the results. Had a chance to chat with Steve about engine/ECU tuning and he did not fail to impress. Both with his level of knowledge and willingness to share info. Can't really say that about other tuners I've talked to over the last 20 yrs.

1st, the question was asked several times and they reply to other questions but decided to skip the warranty question

2nd, no one is doubting their knowledge of tuning, we all know who's Dinan.

Last but not least 1,750 is still expensive for just a flash. Dinan or not, the price can't be that high without a real exception..

I'd also prefer to give them the benefit of the doubt, but one would think when you roll out a promotional campaign you'd be on the board monitoring reception of the end user and ready to answer a question like this. The pause is a little concerning.

Hey,

Wow!

My hat's (Edit: 1/2) off to you.

I mentioned your offering (and others') in an initial post on this thread in relation to pricing and I got censored!

The fact that you've (Shiv) spoken up supporting a (OBDII Flash Tune - Hardware & Software) competitor, says
a lot about your level of honesty and integrity.

Hence, this same perception carries over to the level of quality in your product.

Cheers!

Edit: Huh! So, you've got skin in the game?!?
