So does this tune come with a warranty or not?

I have four BM3 tunes (Stage1/Stage2 each with/without Burble) and the BM3 programmer. I sent my ECU in to get "unlocked" a couple of years ago. I also have the original factory tune (which will re-lock the ECU) and an unlocked factory tune.
My 2016 F82 is used primarily on the track. Is the high power Carbahn tune suitable for extended use (20 minute track sessions) or just for the occasional launch from traffic lights? Can I use the Carbahn Tunes and Flasher interchangeably with the BM3 Tunes and Flasher? (Can I go back and forth)? Thanks in Advance!

I'm with you, that's what I think it is as well but their website has the same warranty that Dinan used to offer. "We match your factory warranty" is a lot different than 2 year product warranty.. Regardless, question has been ducked

I was thinking the same thing as I was going through the thread. Whether it's offered or not, it should be a simple yes or no and with additional clarification.

Maybe just give them a chance to answer your question? Steve Dinan and his team are the real deal. I dropped off my F10 M5 at Carbahn not too long ago for their full suspension upgrade kit and I couldn't be happier with the results. Had a chance to chat with Steve about engine/ECU tuning and he did not fail to impress. Both with his level of knowledge and willingness to share info. Can't really say that about other tuners I've talked to over the last 20 yrs.

2nd, no one is doubting their knowledge of tuning, we all know who's Dinan. Last but not least 1,750 is still expensive for just a flash. Dinan or not, the price can't be that high without a real exception.. |

Hey, Wow! My hat's (Edit: 1/2) off to you. I mentioned your offering (and others') in an initial post on this thread in relation to pricing and I got censored! The fact that you've (Shiv) spoken up supporting a (OBDII Flash Tune - Hardware & Software) competitor, says a lot about your level of honesty and integrity. Hence, this same perception carries over to the level of quality in your product. Cheers! Edit: Huh! So, you've got skin in the game?!? Last edited by Dr._Who; 09-25-2018 at 03:09 PM.. |
