Saying Hi: New to me F80 M3

Hey everyone, just popping over to this forum to say hi. I posted to the General BMW thread and was directed to try here. Happy Holidays!

Recently picked up a 2015 F80 M3 and this car does not disappoint.

Hoping to get familiar with the platform and learn more about the car. I like to DIY and this forum and community seem to have a lot of good knowledge.

Recently finished building a 2013 Aston Martin V8V and now moving on to the F80 M3.

Specs:
2015 F80 M3 Yas Marina Blue with Sakhir Orange Interior.
6 Speed Manual
Mileage 38K
Carbon Roof
Dinan Backbox

Plans:
Power: Tune with AAW Equal Length Midpipe Resonated. (Seems like this is a popular winner to help with the exhaust note of an S55 motor). The previous owner was nice enough to transfer the warranty so I don't want to do this just yet. Maybe when it expires. Also its my daily so dont want anything extreme in terms of power and sound. Its quite fast enough.

Exterior: Carbon lip, sides, rear diffuser. I like the PSM front lip and rear diffuser. I think it will go well with the carbon spec'd roof.

Wheels and Suspension: Not sure yet. Need to do more research.

QUESTIN: For carbon exterior parts can you guys tell me if these sites listedd below are resellers or make their carbon and if they do make their own, the quality of the carbon? I've seen mixed reviews all over the place. Thanks

Congratulations and welcome. I also bought my first ever M this year and been loving it. Love your color and excited to see what you do. I have not modded my car that much but maybe might do a couple things here and there. More cosmetics. Love the Aston Martin, looks stunning. What a choice everyday to choose what to drive!

Thank you! I have always wanted a Laguna Seca Blue with a Red interior but couldn't afford one at the time of release. Since the E46 platform, I've grown to love the F80 looks and performance. I was able to grab an extremely well-maintained, low-mileage Yas Marina Blue with a Red interior, and love this color combo. The previous owner also transferred his warranty over so I have not modded the car. I think I also may just do cosmetics for now. The Aston is finally done (took me about 4 years to mod it). It is nice to have a choice between the Vantage or M3 but I also just daily a four door honda around Happy Holidays! Cheers

Thank you and thank you for the insight. I will look into those companies. Do you know if they are resellers or make inhouse?

Great minds think alike. I've always wanted a blue car and it started with the Laguna Seca Blue E46 M3, but couldnt afford back then and now the f80 is just stunning with the Yas Marina. Thanks for the insight!

Thanks and I'll definitely be shopping around. Do you guys make your own carbon parts or just resell?

Thank you! Happy to finally be in an M. I have a few more I would like to add. I miss boost so the f80 suffices. Part of me wants back into JDM with either a Mark Iv Supra or GTR-R32-34. Excited to learn more about the f80 platform as I've seen its potential.

Welcome. I would highly recommend using a colourlock brand mild cleaner kit on your interior. It will take that Olive Garden booth shine out of those seats and leave a nice matte finish.
