Defly could be. That’s crazy. There’s been a lot of shootings in Brooklyn in the last couple months. Every morning I hear or read about at least two or three shootings overnight.

Their are daily shooting in the Bronx, Brooklyn everyday, so many it unbelievable that this is happening and they want to defund the police ? It's turning into a war zone in NYC, I avoid it much as possible. Unless I have to go to jfk or something.

Its so bad now. I got my place in Brooklyn almost 10 years ago. It was never 'quiet' in terms of crime and the occasional mugging or petty theft is expected for a city. Unfortunately since COVID, and especially the last 2 months, things have been out of control. Literally just last week, or 2 weeks ago, while WFH from the balcony, gunshots ran out in the middle of the day and someone was shot to death on the corner of the block over a small dispute with a random person. Everyone's on edge and criminals are more braver than before.

Bay Ridge had a car jacking the other day by gunpoint in board daylight. People are being stabbed daily within a mile radius just for the money in their wallets. F' Deblasio and his goonies who turn a blind eye to all the carnage.
