DME incorrect data set after flashing bootmod3

Hello i just flashed my car with BM3, at first there's no problem at all until the flash is complete, after the flash js done, the car goes into limp mode, and there is "1F2108 DME Incorrect data set" codes in the BM3 diagnostic and i can't delete it, is there any solution guys?

Update : i tried to flash it back to stock and relock the DME and the CEL is still there😭

Was the car flashed by someone else before BM3?

Yes, last time its tuned by pp performance, but it has been flashed back to stock

Wait a minute- Why did this happen? Why was there a need to replace the DME?

I purchased the BM3 last night and I am excited- but this makes me nervous and why I've always been hesitant with tunes. Let me know!

If the DME type/date were changed to flash different software, this could be the reason. A certain tuner on the forums used this method when selling tunes and it causes all sorts of issues since the DME was identifying as a GTS through the BM3 portal.

Open up a support ticket with BM3 and have them look at your base files for you.

Following - I am having an issue flashing gts tune at the moment. It is failing at 91% . Could it be a server issue ?

My car won't move. Waiting on the guys at bm3 to reply to my ticket

here is some update guys, now i know whats causing it, it's because the software variants between CAS and DME fail to match one another, and right now i have no idea how to encode and reprogram my DME to fix it, and currently the guy who usually codes bmw are not working now because of the pandemic... damn

my friend had the similar problem, and fixed by bm3 support yesterday.

More updates, i have tried contacting the BM3 customer support and have screen sharing session with them, and turns out this error is a bit weird, they don't detect any problem but the fault code keep coming back and they tried contacting their supervisor for now.....

Im having this issue, but it may be because i went from VF stage 1 hex tune to BM3 Stage 1, without flashing back to stock when i had the hex tune (lost my factory file).
