Not only that, but that car is equipped with the CCBs, which require a 19" wheel to fit. So the 18" wheels remain a mystery.

Because it is a good color. After all, it is the replacement of Lemans blue. With this new color line up, you cannot get a respectable blue on an M3/4. Yas Marina is nothing I would buy. Neither is the Yellow. I am now looking at Orange.
Looks good on a 435i msport no doubt

That options/packages list makes me feel like I'm spec'ing a 5 series. Sad how the M3/M4 is getting so much like a 5 series. It's already about the size of the E39.

And how can Comfort Access still not be standard???

HUD imo is a must. I love the HUD in my 7 but the HUD in the M cars even sweeter because of the rev display.

For the E9x, LMB was added for the second model year. So it may be that they plan to add EB for the second model year of the F8x. We'll see.

I believe it means that those options are standard, but they are not the only options that come standard, just a subset of them. The term options may seem like a misnomer but from the perspective of the assembly process anything with a code is considered an option even if it comes standard in our market. Some other market may have different equipment standard. Also, things have codes even if they are included on all M3/M4 simply to distinguish from a 3 Series which is also built in the same factory in Regensburg.

Now, as for the "OR 100%" part, I honestly don't know why that's in there.

Complaining is perhaps too strong a word here. The fact is that you could get a last generation M3 in the M-Sport-exclusive blue of the time, so it is not unnatural to expect the same thing to hold again. Not every color must be exclusive; Alpine white, Mineral White and Mineral Gray are all shared with the 3 Series (and other non-M models).

Earlier in the thread I mentioned how the bright colors grow tiring quickly, but the Austin Yellow is really growing on me! If only there were a color that coordinated besides black for the interior .

I sure hope the final customer colors include Interlagos Blue. Love that color! I think the M3 would look great in Interlagos.

Maybe the 18" wheels are the wheels equipped on the first coupe in the picture.

The in dash screen is going to be there regardless, and based on everything published thus far, there is no way to deleted it.

Like it or not, you get a free attached IPAD with your purchase!

Some people want their Ms more "focused," so they prefer their cars to be bare bones. When it comes to resale of older generation models, I find that bare bones Ms seem to hold their value better among enthusiasts.

On a new car I think NAV is a plus, but it doesn't age well and is not an "enthusiast" option.

Thinking an M3 or M4 will be my first new car purchase.

You can't compare "older generation" models - assuming you meant pre-E46 - because those enthusiasts weren't given the same options. No road going ///M produced in the last 10-12 years is really all that focused.
