There are some amazing garages on this thread!!! I'm just at the build phase for mine so I've been getting some great ideas (especially from Money's and Azula's garages).
Here is a pic of my new one. Need more inspiration!!!

And here she finally is at home. You would have thought I painted the garage to match the car but I did the garage about two years ago. I wish it was a little cleaner and more organized but I have two kids, a wife and lots of crap

Don,t you wish you had two wives and one kid ? one wife to power wash the car with you other one to take care for garage organization. |

Sounds good in theory but one wife is often more than enough

ribbed tiles
Quote:
question, I love that tile/diamond interior but with the ribbed section does water/dirt/sand fall to the concrete and is it difficult to remove/clean? Do youhave to vaccum the debris out? thanks |

Sick garages - love them!
As above... Why are you all using these plasticfloors? Isn't it harder to clean - than fx epoxy or just concrete? And if you drop a screw, it could be gone or..? I don't get it, please explain to a Bimmerfan from Denmark! |

If I was to do it again, I'd also go with these tile floors. |

If anyone is thinking of doing their own epoxy I generally don't recommend it, but if you opt to take the plunge Rustoleum pro is very good. I don't think a home gamer can work with the commercial grade epoxies that are 100% solids because they set up too fast and they're too prone to off gassing bubbles. Tons of horror stories about this on Garage Journal. Rustoleum pro is 70% solids and 30% solvent so the pot life is forever and it makes a great primer for itself (meaning two coats is perfect). The commercial product retailers will tell you to use a primer for their product, and it will be a 70% solids epoxy, just like Rustoleum pro. |
