DCT is basically an auto unless you're on the track. What I mean is I think you will end up just driving it like an auto.

So, wait for a manual.

Seen that your thread has been going for a while, hang in there and stay patient. I was in a similar situation, sold my M4 and wanted to switch into a M3 for the extra doors, only I wanted the DCT. Was strongly tempted by a 17, ultimate pack, individual, only it was manual. Talked to the seller and seemed to be well taken care of and price was reasonable. In the end decided to hold steady and passed on it. A couple of weeks go by and bam, a 18, ultimate pack, individual, DCT comes along and I jump on it.

I know the cars are in short supply right now but don't compromise. I know sitting and waiting is hard when you've got the money ready to spend. But, time is your friend in this situation, eventually something will pop up and you'll be happy you waited for it!

One just got posted its white with red interior 6MT - Also, my buddy at Pfaff BMW said he has a used one coming in this week I think so check their website.

Hey thanks for the heads up. That white one is super clean and well priced but a bit odder and higher mileage than I’m looking for. I must sound so picky but when spending this kind of money, for me it’s a big deal.

I will definitely be checking Pfaff website this week. I did talk to a sales person there and he was selling his 2018 M3 in SMB with ultimate package but DCT. Damn so close again

Bump. Going to check out the new G80 at Budds Oakville today.

Wow the interior on the new G80 is wild.
I was able to sit in both the M4 and M3 with the carbon back seats and competition package.

Sales guy accidentally fired up the M4 and it sounded great.

Hopefully I find the right F80 before spring..... cuz damn I’m tempted to go new

They said till tomorrow morning and both cars are being shipped out west to BC.

I’d interested to see if the exterior will grow on me. Maybe a dark colour will help the grills blend in.

I can’t get over the interior tho, they had a F82 competition in the showroom and felt a bit dated when going straight from the G8x to the F8x within a minute.
