They don't work. I put them on so I could trade my car in with dps since I didn't have the stock cats. Still got cel after 65 miles so I returned them and just reset the light right before trade in. I ordered a new 2016 f80 and will not sacrifice a cel for the small benefits of dps...no thanks. I would stick to stock dps imo

My original thoughts was to get a downpipe and call it a day. But I now don't want to deal with CEL at all, so I'm going the midpipe route instead. IMO not worth the minimal gain and hassle.

I use this for 2k miles so far and no cel on my m2. Nothing to splice and attaches to the DP installed was very easy

I can't believe that works? Lol. How does the sensor get the required airflow around it when it's recessed in a cavity like that?

No clue but it works. Some simulators are just spacers but this one actually has a honeycomb cat in it that filters the air!

Thanks for the tip. I will definitely look more into this. I wonder if it'll be any different for the S55's? Also what other mods have you done aside from the catless downpipe? Thx..

I can't see why it wouldn't work, just read the instructions they give you a thin nut that has to go on between the mini cat and the o2 sensor ( hand tighten) shouldn't be a problem. It's 50 bucks or so to try. I don't know the guys return policy but I'm sure if it doesn't work for you you guys can work something out. It was a little sketchy ordering from a site that was built in 95' but I just used PayPal lol works like a charm so far

I have dp, K&N filter, and fmic.

I'll be surprised if it works for the s55. I heard they didn't work that's why I never tried it

let me get my test version of the sim and i will let you guys know.

most of the problems with the n55 one were due to people not following proper install instructions. its super sensitive. i was running it for 2yrs without issue and mine was a beta unit. we went through 6 version sent back and forth before the beta became the actual unit.

****** guys over in Manitoba, Canada have a great o2 simulator if anyone's interested for off-road use. We haven't had a chance to test it on this platform but no reason it won't work. Its the best one we know of today. Suggest you guys give them a shout and inquire:

Other than the CEL, the car doesn't go into some weird limp mode or change fuel trims etc will it? (If you don't have a JB4 to turn off CEL etc

No, it doesn't adversely impact the engine in any way.

I just get an ISTA message and no CCM/CEL, and have had DPs in for about a week and 400mi.
