I've never had anything I couldn't get off. I do wax it regularly and when I wash the car I also apply bead maker. I suspect that helps some.
Yes you can polish ppf but it will also remove the top uv coat from ppf. It's very thin unlike car's clear coat very hard and thick.

Once the Uv coating is out, you will be surprised how fast it turns to yellow

From my understanding, PPF doesn't have a UV coat. If it did, it would cause the paint underneath to fade unevenly with non PPF parts.

To echo a previous comment, magic eraser is a mechanical abrasive. In other words, it's like fine sandpaper and therefore you want to be in general concerned about it working "too well" for whatever surface you use it on. Even though the PPF might self heal from the scratches left behind, I would be very concerned about permanently reducing the thickness of the film.

Actually yes the color is uneven after ppf removed.

Here is the thing, Most ppf shops uses pre-cut besides front end (hood, front bumper, front fender). Price will be almost double if doing custom cut. But anyways those edges that didn't cover, is not as shine the place the covered by ppf after ppf removed from my x5m
