Thank you. Actually wanted to book a Nordschleife course, but my voucher did not qualify for that. Just curios how slicks compare with the Cup 2s and if I am able to push the GT4 to the limit (in a safely manner, of course). Had a taxi lap in a 720S on the Nordschleife and the speed the driver took some corner with...shit, my preservation spirit will never allow that.

Already drove the Nurburgring GP track when Nissan did the European launch of the GT-R there. One day of autocross, drifting, sliding plate exercise and in the end, GP track laps with an instructor in the passenger seat. Got a nice helmet (Arai) and a personalised book with my picture in the car in it.

lol....then what is the point of CCBs? You can't take advantage of them on the street and they are too expensive to track.

You must be new to the American dream. It's for the stunting, flexing, fronting, swagger-bangin', instaflasin'.

You ABSOLUTELY can take advantage of them on the street! Although I would NEVER (again) buy a track car with CCB's, I would ALWAYS consider optioning them for a street/touring car!

CCB's are effectively dustless (at least the dust they produce DOESN'T stick to your wheels). The wheels on your street/show/touring car will always be looking great and easily rinsed for cleaning. ...and since they will almost never approach any of the temps which are reached on the track, the pads and rotors will effectively last forever.

If the Lv.2 or 3 were to be available at the Ring, I would participate in the training.

Even the Level 1 is only available on the Nürburgring Grand Prix track, not the "Ring" (Nordschleife).

Tomorrow and Wednesday are the big days. Outside temperatures above 97°F.
