It seems like the Dinan rear section paired with an EQ Midpipe will give a deeper fuller sound as it is stainless steel, a little less raspy compared to OEM since the OEM muffler was designed with stock components and different sound waves. However, comparing the Dinan muffler to the Remus one. It seems like the Remus one has more of a high tone pitch as it is titanium. I personally prefer the Remus rear section as I prefer more of the higher pitch tone similar to the S54. Full titanium on our cars will make them sound atrocious though.

I think you're right. The way I read the product page makes me believe the muffler is stainless steel; and only the tips are titanium. Perhaps someone who owns this can confirm.

Not sure where I got the idea the muffler was titanium. But still for some reason, the Remus muffler has a much more different tone than the Dinan rear section.

Anybody order this Remus + Equal-Length exhaust combo from Extreme Power House? Here is the link to their thread on their exhaust combo https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1755926. I hope this price takes into account with the new $200 price increase of the the Equal-Length Midpipe resonated or non-resonated. Currently interested in this and seeing how people's experience has been with them. If the cases are good, I might bite the bullet.

i did--placed my order in early march. received the remus muffler within 2 weeks but still waiting on the AA midpipe. if youre asking about the service then id say theyre good, no complaints here other than the delay from AA which XPH cant do much about.

Count on 6-8 weeks to receive the Active Autowerke midpipe, I waited 8 weeks exactly. It was worth the wait.

I doubt it. So the original single midpipe - they literally cloned/stole it from Active Autowerke. The engineering and effort behind the AA EL midpipe is significantly more and my point is it's a lot harder to copy. VRSF just makes these from China, and I have no problem with China but my point is they completely ripped off the AA single midpipe product.

AA sources parts globally but assembles and does everything in America. It's a very high quality product.

Small sample size, but today someone in a C5 Corvette gave me the thumbs up to my EL exhaust, validation from others is great!

Just installed my new exhaust settup & l couldn't be more happier. Very deep under 3k rpm & anything above the car sounds insane with no rasp. I just added resonators to my mid pipe from AA & it really cleaned up the exhaust note. I have a few videos on my Instagram @M3NYC_ .

Settup:
VSRF Downpipes
AA EL Midpipe w Resonators
Eisenmann Race Muffler w valves

on my instagram you can see the difference between no resonators & resonators the difference.

Any muffler with a valve that allows a straight pipe is going to be loud and fairly similar in volume.

It's really hard to tell how loud your car is from the interior as these cars are so well insulated
