They got me...as you can see I created an account in 2007 to troll the forums in 2021...lol. I will admit the last few months my posts have been negative towards the brand, but honestly that is how I feel about a brand I have been driving since I was 16 years old. If I were to post a pic of my first BMW I would have to scan a polaroid. I would bet I have owned more BMW's than most the mods on these forums. Thescout13 I am asking tomorrow but I spotted VW Export Schedule posted on the 718 side.

There are two ships slated for San Diego and it should be either one of them.

We are either on the Glovis Sun or the RCC Europe. It is one of them. Glovis Sun is supposed to get to SD on 10/26 while the RCC Europe is 11/4. The screenshot my SA posted to me was 10/22, so... it could be the Glovis Sun.

Edit: It should be the Glovis Sun. The RCC Europe's load ready time on that is off. Glovis Sun has just set off of Europe and it goes directly to SD without any stops in between. I think that is our guy.

Mods have been filtering opinions, deleting posts, editing posts, and literally rearranging threads for a while now. I’ve resisted calling it out but I do take a mental note every time it’s done… and it’s been a lot. A lot of it seems to revolve around burying negative opinions or perspectives on either BMW or their current direction.

I still love this community and don’t usually have an issue with mods, but the shit they pull ain’t slick. I’d love to see some of that effort used to bury opinions be used more proactively to thwart scammers, spammers, and actual trolls. I mean I’m personally sick of seeing people get scammed on this very board… it happens regularly enough that there has got to be some additional oversight of the F/S section that could be done to discourage the conartists who are lurking here

That has happened to my posts as well. I think it's completely inappropriate for the moderators to change a user's words without notifying them, getting their approval and/or adding a change note.

For example, I one time posted Car & Driver's review of the G05 X5 M50i which was titled "Car & Driver: BMW X5 M50i Is a Beast without Bragging Rights". They changed the title of my post to ""Car & Driver: BMW X5 M50i Is a Beast" and posted it to the front page.

Definitely abusing some of my perceived norms or standards around Internet forum moderation...

I've been thinking about just taking a few years off from the performance car scene and moving to a defender 90. I could order a decent one and swap my paid for 21 M2C nearly outright. The Land Rover boards seem to be more 2005 e46fanatics collegial. I'll never leave these boards but maybe I need a break.

Doing an extended test drive by way of a safari with Land Rover in Namibia in 10 days. Could send me over the edge!

Was able to confirm a few minutes ago with my CA that my car is indeed on Glovis Sun.
