Looks amazing. Think I'd just buy another car in custom colour, I don't have the patients for a wrap. lol

Jeez man, seeing those give me anxiety about even wondering where to start with a project like that. Nice job!

It looks great, by the way.

Because of this stay at home order / quarantine, business has slowed down a bit so I finally had some time to do what I always wanted to do: stress out and question my decisions in life...haha JK! I decided to viynl wrap my car! Weee

I bought the material and supplies and geared myself by watching YouTube videos. I then started this project last Friday and finished this past Sunday. Took me about 9 days, working on one or two panels a day along with taking the car apart. In total I think I spent about 40-50 hours on this project.

Got progressively better towards the end though.

My car is a smurf now!

I'd like to thank Amazon for having one day prime delivery because I ran out of supplies. Next, I'd like to thank my hands and back for enduring the pain of being hunched over applying this blue sticker on my car. I also like to thank the countless mosquitos that bit me during this week of torture ().

Never again.

PS. I hate bumpers.
I haven't heard of this brand for the wrap, is it good? Safe for the paint?

Thanks

Did you consider stopping at any point? One or two of those photos looks kind of cool with the blue and white mix. Either way looks fantastic way to go!

I love this. I have been searching for a Yas Marina Blue convertible for eons (mine is white) - they are very difficult to come across - this is quite a solution!

Well I don’t have any experience with any other brand as this was my first time wrapping a car and using viynl wrap, but I have friends who used the same wrap for professional jobs and this wrap lasted through multiple track days together.

Plus it’s not sooo expensive where you’ll feel bad messing up. The other brand had a $300-$400 markup from this brand. For that price you could almost buy two rolls of this brand!

I just actually bought more viynl material so I can start wrapping the door jambs and fuel door. We will see if I have time though! We just had our second son so I may be too busy to play cars

Thanks for the comment!

I actually did stop! I wrapped the top part of the trunk and then tried to do the side but didn’t think it through and messed up. Took everything off. Left me kind of discouraged for about 2 weeks. Then I saw another members post about a new car he got in an awesome color and it made me so motivated. Hahah.

If you have the time to do a panel or two a day and take your time, it’s pretty fun and rewarding!
