If you really are after pure performance, go Z06. There's no comparison.

Even my C6 z06 was significantly faster than the M4 but that's not why I made the switch.

The Problem with the Vette is you will never escape that fat, balding, 50 yr old redneck image.......................ever.

Of course if that fits your description that go for it .

As a side note, Vette guys were the ONLY CAR GUYS to get all grumpy when I would destroy them at Atco. EVERY single time, they would avoid lining up and would literally do everything they could to avoid racing me, it was sad. Every other car guy would love to BS/chit chat except for the cry baby vette guys

Or you don't have to be ignorant and respect great cars for what they are.

Every single car brand / make / model has cool owners and douchebag owners. Vette, m3, m6, gtr, 911 etc

Drive what you like, end of story

if you plan to track the Z06, be aware of the heat soak issues its having. Aftermarket vendors are already designing, thermal reduction spacers and larger capacity radiators to help deal with it. Some are even developing more appropriately sized superchargers for it. It is also supected the supercharger is sized too small. Even in 60 degF ambient, after 3 laps oil temps started hitting the over 280 degF

I rented this from Hertz, was truly impressed - for all the reasons previously mentioned. I started searching for used cars. It's on my list, one day.

We literally have the same spec M3! BSM/SO with blk 666s. Nice Z06 too! They sound wicked. I’ve always liked the C6 ZR1.

Honestly ... I replaced my X5 with the M3 because every single time I drove the X5 I was missing the Z06. Now I like them both equally! Yes, the Z06 is a very different animal - but I very very very much like the M3. Fun does not always require HP!

Good buddy has a Vett. It is a beast but a different animal in my opinion. Just not practical for me but awesome for sure.
