To date, no one has tried to race me in the M4. Even when I drive the Hellcat, people don't try (just thumbs up and smiles). Which is odd, since Houston is top 3 in the nation for fast cars and enthusiasts.

The other day a Tesla P100 saw my headlights in the rear view mirror and pulled away after traffic light turned green. The way he pulled, you could almost think he got scared from the aggressive front look of the M4!

In my neck of the woods everyone has a Dodge and the 392 is the car of choice. I don't give most the satisfaction of me risking putting others in danger but those SRT scat packs get under my skin with all the noise they make. The drivers look as if their the best thing since slice bread so i give them a go from time to time. I've raced at least 5 in my 3 years of ownership of my 2016 Dct and it's always the same outcome. Another Dodge owner realizes he doesnt want to race an M3 ever in life and probably has nightmares hereafter. I am tired of all the attention from the ricers and the tailgating I receive in conclusion.

Funny... I was on the highway coming from Toronto to Montreal. I never race period. I was going about 128-130. This modded NSX 1st gen pulls next to me. Gives me the look and then I can hear his engine going, I was in 7th gear so I dropped 3 gears and gunned it. I came to him like he was stopped and in no time he was no where to be seen. I casually moved to the right most lane and let him catch up. I think he was shocked, as was I (never thought I would destroy him totally) LoL..

Yesterday I'm rolling down the freeway toll roads. I see a M5 and we roll the slow lane in tandem for a few miles at 69mph. Limit is 65.

I need to pass him and go another way. I merge into the next lane to the left. I pull up along side, we wave bye.

Next thing I know a all black Ford F-150 that had a raptor like stance from the front pulls up fast and on my ass.

I'm at 72mph. He continues to ride my ass in the 2nd lane from the slow lane on a 4 lane highway. I'm like, dude, go around. Why purposely ride my ass in the slow lanes when it's wide open?

A tunnel is approaching.

So frustrated this asshat is riding my ass for no reason, I kick down into 4th, car jumps close to redline and I just pull away from him while pushing redline, super loud exhaust going through the tunnel. My car is bouncing as I apex this sweeping turn in the tunnel.

Life off pops the exhaust burbles so loud it sounded like gun shots. And I'm GOne!!!

I get up to 103mph though the tunnel and went right back into the slow lane and got back to 69mph.

Truck pulls up. It's all black. I mean all black. Limo tinted windows and all.

The truck rides along me for a about 20 seconds. Then he takes off as hard as he could. Gets in front of me and...


Turns on his god dam hidden sheriff lights!

Lights are on and he's way in front of me. I'm
Going to jail. For sure. FUck!

But he just keep going and only turned the lights on for a second. Like to let me know I just dusted a cop.

Can't ever drive on the autobahn without someone wanting to 'play'. Last time we were doing 160mph+ with an AMG GTS. Plenty of AMG and Porsches wanting to mess around downtown, but too many people walking around for that crazy shit to go down.

Now that my car is a bit modded, I rarely get hit up. Go figure.

Fuck that guy. What's he doing, other than trying to bait you into taking off so he could...what? Power tripping? Scaring a law abiding citizen for no reason?

This has probably happened to me 3-4 times in my life and I still don't get what the officer's objective is. Never been pulled over either...just the turning on of the flashers. The first time it happened I had the same near-pant shitting reaction. After that it just pissed me off.

Oh yeah? Would be cool if so, but why the tailgating? That's normally a threatening gesture. And the turning on flashers is kind of a universally a sign that "you're fucked and I'm pulling you over".

Wish they could find a better way to do what you say without the extremely mixed signals
