Need Thanos to snap his fingers create an M3 AWD and restore order to this lopsided universe where station wagons are gapping the M3.

I said it in one ony posts earlier when i drove rs5 that the Quattro makes it feel quicker and that kickdown at highway speeds the m3 felt like it rocketed forward in a way audi dosent.
both great cars and i love the rear on the rs5 .. rs4 hasnt grown on me at all for some reason.

Wtf was that Beluga whale looking airplane in the background? I bet if I put a carbon lip and spoiler on it would look so much better!

Never understood the appeal with wagons.

We had a Ford Taurus station wagon back in the day, and I never found the appeal as an adult.

It was great to fold down the seats and sleep in the back before seatbelts became a legitimate thing.

Or you could sit awkwardly facing backwards on the NJ Turnpike waving at people, kinda like the Tesla Model S can do now.

M3 CS all day over the RS wagon. I value driver engagement over a bit of 0-60 bragging rights. RS4 would be boring.

Wagons are like manual transmissions: everyone demands them, yet no one ever buys them.

Maybe try going around a corner... If I wanted a drag car, the CS would not be my choice. On the other hand if I could get the RS4 wagon in Canada, I would have the wagon. While we are talking fantasy land, if I could get an M3 Touring (without spending 150k at a body shop) that would be awesome!

I wonder what would happen if BMW sold the 340i Touring in RWD manual? The 328 sold in North America is basically a short SUV with the handling benefits of a lower center of gravity.

Driver engagement, focus, lap times, and feel should be the aim of the M3/M4. Which it has always done quite well with.
Then bye an M2.

I want the next versions BMW M3 & M4 to have Rear Bias All Wheel M xDrive! And all BMW M Division has to do is install a button for those of you who only want real wheel drive at times.

Here in New York State I want and NEED the amazing xDrive because we have four seasons to deal with.

M3 Wagon needed in the 3 Series lineup here in the U.S.A.!

For those of US that still want to Speed and Accuracy, BUT still want to be able to haul stuff such as; a drum set, mountain bikes, groceries, surfboards, you name it. Now the X4 is the only other best option.

Grew up with old-school VW wagon's and Volvo station wagon's, bad ass tanks! But of course they lacked the sporty ness of a performance sedan.

Paul Newman used to put the most powerful engine he could in his Volvo station wagon and blow people off the line.

They already have, and more than once. E34, E39 and E60 M5 were all offered as wagons, just not on this side of the Atlantic.
