Alpine White vs Mineral White

Saw a MW e92 M3 at the Welt.

Thought it was the most beautiful color at the Welt...

and I hate white cars.

I believe this has always been my only problem with any metallic paints - they are a real wench to touch-up. I once had an emerald green (which drove me nuts because it wore badly) and a metallic blue (which looked like crap when I did any touch-ups), and I basically swore I'd never have another metallic or dark-colored car. Since then, I've only bought white cars and trucks. On my AW, touching up is not a problem.

That being said, I absolutely LOVE the metallic paints, but for me and my OCD tendencies, there is no way I could live with it unless the car was completed coated with XPEL.

No, pearl white is definitely the most difficult. Ask any good body man.

Not a fan either but I keep looking at the mineral white F80 spied on the street and drooling.

Me neither......not with that rear bumper design. BMW did better with the rear end of their M-Sport cars.

Most everyone I know thinks the exact opposite including me. I have stared at this color side to side before and it was clear to me the AW was brighter and had more life.
