bought the ferrari but didn't like having only automatics in my garage. so i sold my auto 335 for a manual m3 to scratch that itch. then sold the ferrari for a gt3 as soon as porsche announced they brought the manual back in 2018-2019.

not sure how much longer i'll keep the m3.=

Interesting thread as I'm trying to decide on my next daily since my wife thinks it's silly that I have two nearly identical looking cars (her words, not mine). My F8X (2018 BMW M4 Ultimate Package), my daily (2015 BMW 428i Gran Coupe) and my other toy (2009 Yamaha R6).

WiftFlyte I like the R6. I had a blue 2006 then got a Triumph Daytona 675 in the same black/gold color scheme. Loved riding both of those, but unfortunately every driver is VA is out to literally kill you, so I offloaded the 2-wheeled toy for a 4-wheeled one.

We've got 6 cars here total including the F82. My DD is a 2000 Z3 2.3 5MT which shares DD duty with a 2016 X1 2.8XDrive M-Sport (Man, thats a mouthful!)

Though I don't disagree with you (my thoughts too), all of us do own a ~$50k vehicle (average price/value of our F80's?). So, we aren't actually rolling on Kia's and Hyundai's…. But I do agree I'll probably never own a Ferrari or Ford GT in my lifetime. My goal is to get a (used) 911 Carrera someday. That's about the top end for me that I can afford.

Never say never. Have you ever looked into day trading or investing in the stock market? It can be quite rewarding if you put the time in to figure it out.
