How to test for boost leak? 520whp only??

Anyone have the tool recommendations to test for a boost leak? What's most effective, who's recently got the tools. Links?

- Smoke method through the intake?
- Pressure test on the dual intake system?

Thanks.

Reason: M2C S55 stock turbo FBO w/ 100% meth on Jpipe tune only pushing 520whp with JordanTuned bootmod3. Note, I do have the secondary cats. I feel I'm missing power.

Look at a log and see how WGDC 1 and 2 do.
Also look at manifold boost pressure…
Plus the usual others.

Os the Cary tune for 93 octane gas plus Meth spray?

What so I look for in WGDC 1 and 2? I have a boost tap in the Jpipe doing 27-28psi.

Yes it's a custom tune for meth.

Just pump the smoke tester through an intake with engine on idle?

engine off, intakes blocked (remove filter and block the tube), and pump the smoke in after the throttle body somewhere.
You can also pump the smoke in through the intake with one of the intake cones that come with the smoke machine and crack the throttle wide open (key on, engine off).

I usually block the exhaust at the tips just in case, but if you have a leak you will normally see smoke up front before it makes its way all the way back there.
