Smile Maximum Psi intake review

Hello Everyone,

I’m new to the forum and I recently decided to do my first performance modification on my 2018 F80 M3. I’ve lerked the forums for a while and I’m so pleased with this mod I decided to make a post. 🤷🏼*♂️

The install was straight forward and simple with very little trimming required. Instructions were provided but honestly I didn’t need them. The fitment is spot on and it looks awesome in the wrinkle black coating. 🙌🏻

oops.. the Front facing intakes look great, the vehicle feels faster and definitely sounds louder! You can hear the intakes sucking in air and the turbos spooling. I didn’t feel any delay or hesitation which was a major concern by straying from the stock design. The filters are k&N so I’ll never have to purchase another air filter again and previously had their products on other vehicles. The intakes are priced higher than other brands but it’s worth the difference in quality. If anyones interested I got them on sale too!

Hey,

Congratulations!

In your first photo, where the Stock Air Boxes used to be, it looks (your car is White, correct?) Black.

Did you add paint here or are those the bottom half's of the stock Air boxes still on the car?

Cheers!

It’s alpine white, factory paint. I haven’t touched the cars paint. I need to wash it and I wash her every night but I did some pulls in Mexico and she got bug splatter’

When removing the factory air boxes the fender liner becomes clearly displayed. 🙌🏻
