New-to-me GTS
I've got a GTS incoming from a Midwest dealer.
Had a F80 couple years ago. Migrated to Porsche. Then most recently a GT350, and now a M4 GTS. Use will be occasional daily + track days, and eventually time attack and TT. Nice to be back to the BMW fold.

Finally someone purchased that one! Congrats man! You probably got it really cheap since it's been around forever!

I believe those are an orderable option for wheels on the GTS....not sure what style tho. Track weekend with GTS will be in Nov, still recovering from achilles tendon repair surgery. And i will post up a comparo. The GT350 (which was tracked) was brash and sounded great, but just felt large and boaty, in part, due to that long hood in front of you. I could not dial in the suspension.

Congrats on the purchase, I too would be very interested in your opinion between the GTS and the GT350. I cross-shopped them myself and I still wonder if I'd have preferred a GT350.

I want to say this car came from Texas before ending up in I think Oklahoma, and it had been passed along to ~3 different dealerships. I recognize it as it is the reason I checked to see how much the 666M GTS wheels cost. This car has these wheels on it -> https://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/6...---MATTE-BLACK |

I wouldn't be too worried IMO. I only passed it over because I wanted the acid-orange 666M wheels, and it would have cost me another ~$5k to purchase new 666Ms from BMW, at which point the GTS in Fresno was ~= in price, so I just went with that one. Literally came down to money and trouble. It's a GTS with a factory warranty and very low mileage, beat the heck out of it without worry

Update:
Got the car. Cons: -only one key (let me know if there is a least expensive way to get a 2nd key) -shallow but half-dollar sized dent in the driver's side rear fender. Should be a cinch for my paintless dent repair guy -1.5inch long scratch in drivers side front fender. About 90% certain it did not make it through the PPF. Otherwise, I think still a good value given what I paid.

I also only have 1 key, curious how much a second FOB will run. The PPF is a nice added bonus. Front clip or whole car? A serious value add if it is the latter.
Speaking of PPF, if anyone else is considering it, I've been really happy with the XPEL stealth that I had installed. Colorado is very dusty with a lot of rocks due to the winter anti-ice mix they put down. I've got ~600 miles of mostly canyons and one ~90 mile lapping day, and I have several scars in the PPF. Sport Cup 2s fling rocks in the rear quarters + doors, and I know I got sandblasted in a corner when someone dipped a tire. Really helps reduce concerns about damaging the paint when washing it also. |

PPF and M performance side skirts should be the first mods one does. The area just in front of the rear tires BELOW the factory film gets a ton of rocks i noticed.
