Ferrari Red M4 purchase

Hi Guys

I recently pulled the trigger on a new Individual Ferrari red m4 vert with brown extended interior. I live in NJ and car is coming from CA, this is my first purchase of a vehicle without seeing it in person.

Did anyone own this car here: WBS3U9C39HP971117

If anyone did how was she? Its a 2017 with only 15k on the clock

Thanks! what part of NJ? I'm in Marlboro. i still have 5 months left on my X3 lease but when i saw this combo with such low miles i pounced on it. Plus they letting me skip 3 months of payment to make the lease payments not as painful.

I will reserve my judgment for when i get the car. They are waiting for the financing to get funded and its off to the east coast.....

Ha! I was looking at that car as well. SLO dealer, right? I'm assuming you got it before they jacked the price back up from $45K to $50K. Man was that weird. Loved the color combo, but in the end was a bit more flash than what I was looking for.

Did you ever get a straight answer on why they could not get the car CPO? The sales guy I spoke with said it was because the first owner was like 50 miles late on the break-in service which seemed a bit off to me.

Anyway, clean car. Congrats.

Yup 49 would be to much. Got it for 47k with taxes out the door. Msrp was 44k and they gave me 75k 5yrs maintenance for an extra couple bucks a month. They were willing to CPO but wanted me to pay for it. My 2015 m4 was bullet proof. Hope this one is the same.

Nice. $47K with tax is a great deal. Curious how they did that since you would pay NYC tax on registration (vs. CA tax). My dealer in FL did not offer to do that, but no big deal as WA will have their hands out when we go to reg...

I live in NJ and they could not register the car as our DMVs are closed. They offered to register the car in CA but it was like 750 dollars and i was like no way in hell am i paying close to a grand for CA plates. I still have my x3. When dmv opens again ill register her. Prob gonna cost me like 150 to register the car in nj on top of any taxes.

I already have it insured i doubt im gonna get a ticket if i go for a quick spin with the bill of sale in my glove box....

I mean come on Gov Murphy is the one that wont let me register my purchase.

Had to look it up. Much cheaper than Cali. CA is like Europe what ever they are smoking they aint getting enough of it.

I don't know. I told them I have a lease till October. The sales guy said ok we can let you skip 3 payments so really I'm only out 2 payments on my x3. I settled on that as this config does not come along frequently with such low miles.

Worst case don't pay state tax. When you go to register the car at the DMV then they will ask for that sales tax. New cars can't be registered in nj at the moment as the DMV is not open. If you drive the car I would have the bill of sale with you so the popo don't give you any issues.
