Time for exhaust work on Lucky!

I need some help .. I am finally going to get some work done on Lucky in terms of exhaust, I do not want to void my warranty what would ya'll suggest?

I am not going to be tuning. I just want to improve sound and I don't track her.

Brands? I was offered sponsorship from a company that wanted to give me a midpipe, is anyone just running a midpipe with no tune? Will it make a difference? I'm DCT comp.

I think it's in your best interest to read through this thread:

https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1675268

There are currently 4 options either on the market or coming very soon. I think it's worth it to wait until the last 2 come to market before making your decision.

Here is the exhaust I helped develop:

Do an AA mid pipe (no tune required) and pair it with M Performance exhaust to keep it OEM looking. Best combo, I can vouch.

I just picked up an AFE Power system after having an ARK system for 3 years.

Couldn't be happier and the sound is the best I've heard in person, the worlds are beautiful and it fit like a glove.

AWE Switchpath Non Res. Honestly the best sound out of the S55. Sound is very deep/aggressive, but sounds close to stock when valves are shut or low rpm cruising.

Currently running this with stock DP.

Hey Fran
Good to hear Lucky is getting sum work done.
I would suggest AA midpipe along with Remus rear sec. Another option would be AA mid with M performance. Either one will give you a big improvement in sound over stock system
Stay well & safe

The AA Single Mid will lower your tone and help remove some rasp. You'll find lots of video comparisons online. I wanted the super-deep tone and increased volume so I went with the full AA Signature 3.5in Cat-back Exhaust. I combined it with hi-flow cats for some extra pop (prolly go back to stock DPs).

The most balanced system in my opinion is the Active Autowerke midpipe + REMUS axle back.

It gives the car a deep tone without any rasp or drone. It also usee the stock exhaust valves so the sound is mild with valved closed and aggressive with the valves open.

+1 running this a 2nd time, this time on a single turb, it’s perfect tone system for that too
