Truly don't get popularity of painted reflectors. Whether software or industrial design basic rule is form follows function. To delete the function of the reflector is fundamental violation of a well established design principle. Makes zero sense. Such an insignificant mod yet such a headache with inspection. Nobody is going to say "wow, great mod" yet everyone is compelled to do it and complain when color doesn't match perfectly (eg. Mineral White). Crazy waste of $$$.

Also i'm going to get my bumper resprayed in a few weeks. Do you think I should just get this and not have them respray it and hope it will match? Maybe have them spray a coat on top of your reflectors to make sure it matches or maybe just get a primed version from you guys with no paint? I tend to overthink these things. Thanks

I think I'm FINALLY going to pull the trigger on these today, however I'm in the situation with a Mineral White car... I understand there isn't the Paint Match Guarantee on MW paint, but what is the return policy if it's just waaaaay off?

Just a few tips for anyone installing these themselves.

- It helps to unscrew the side cameras if you have them to get better access to the back of the reflector. There are two small torx screws at the top and bottom that hold them in. I found it easier to use a socket torx head by hand as there is very little room for a ratchet and no room for a full torx driver. The screws aren’t in very tight.

- It’s important to get all the old adhesive off as there is a thin layer of foam as well so it won’t sit flush unless you get it all off. For me, some of mine came off with the reflector and some stayed on the back of the bumper. Helps to use a hair dryer to warm it up.

- Trim tools are absolutely necessary to get the old reflector off and to help scrape off any residual adhesive.

Took some work but I’m extremely happy with my painted reflectors!
