Coded out EDC and lost other coding

So since it seemed so simple I coded out EDC myself. Sean helped me get ESYS set up and I followed the 88Tuning tutorial on EDC coding. All went well up till they tell you to read SVT....that just gave me errors....what worked was read ECU. Then I coded each of the modules DSC, HUNBT, ICM & KOMBI one at a time.

After clearing all the errors and resetting the TMPS all is good except...... now for some reason I have lost some of the euro coding I paid to have done before by Alex@Alpine. I have not verified it yet but right out of the shoot the video in motion quit working. So not sure what else was erased..... any ideas? I really do not want to go in and code all the features again since i am a beginner

why did that happen? All I took out was 2VF. When you read I thought is saved the options you have already. I mean how do peeps create a file so you can back up all your codings? Seems like a PITA. Guess I have my work cut out for me and a bigger learning curve

This is common when making VO changes. Simply recode options and you're set.

Great...I had all the std codings done... A lot of shit went back to normal.

So I am still confused..... if you go in and make one change it jack all the rest of the shit up? So you have to come it all at one time? I got a lot to learn. Or pay to have my car coded again....which I could have done with the EDC but thought I would give it a shot

Thanks for all the feedback. So would this have over wrote the GTS EPS, TC & Diff coding also?

Question then....most of the things that resorted back to stock I have noticed.... now my question is, did this delete out my GTS EPS, TC & Diff changes?

It didn't delete your EPS, Differential and Transmission.
They are all different modules (EPS, GHAS, EGS4)

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback kubax86
What would have been coded in the DSC...Euro MDM? I didn't have that coded just am curious. I just had the GTS stuff. MDM should have been OEM setting. I am trying to figure out what coding I lost in each module
