They reset my account prior to reinstalling my tune so that it would save the new stock programming. Verified CALID/CVN prior to tune. Then tested going back to stock/lock and calid/cvn was just as it was. Did all this because I know I’ll be moving to Cali in a year.
Can you share a screenshot of this? What did you use to read the values?

I used ISTA. Not going to flash/lock just to prove this but since ISTA saves diagnostic processes performed, I dug up the screen shot from when I checked the CALID/CVN back in August 2021. Note the date of the screen shot showing matching CALID/CVN as 8/27/2021. Then look at the second screen shot in BM3 showing an activation date of 8/26/2021 after they reset my account.

Where in ISTA can you get your CAL ID and CVN number at? I want to check mine and take a screen shot before I tune.

I just bought a used car with an MHD tune. I bought an MHD WiFi dongle, is this compatible with BM3? Can I still flash my car to BM3 if I don’t have stick tune?

Thanks!

The dongle is compatible. I don't know what a stick tune is. I would keep the MHD tune creds. Return the car to 0 and re-lock first to be safe. Then tune with BM3.
