BimmerCode: F82 Needle Sweep

Hi all,

I know Carly can do this but has anybody coded the needle sweep on start up on the F82 with BimmerCode? Model year is 2016.

Thanks!

Who doesn't like a good needle sweep on start up...I'd code it in if possible.

I've noticed the new customROM update sweeps the tach, which then drops down to show which slot of the multi-map you're currently set to run. And it's a nice visual.

But, it would please my OCD even more if the speedo and tach had the same initial sweep motion.

Interesting...I just flashed to the multi map but haven't paid attention.

I haven't noticed it every time. But, I suspect the tach sweep occurs when the car "wakes up" upon unlocking it.

Haven't really seen it happen when first getting in the car. But, if you get in, turn the ignition on (don't start the engine) and then turn it back off, watch the tach when you next hit the start button to turn the ignition on again.

I have asked the question of the BimmerCode developers. Will report back with my findings.

It should be possible. I did it on my 2007 e92 335i using JB4.
