First Snowfall with my F80
Glad I fitted my winter tires/wheels early. Had to maneuver around a few disabled cars on my way home after I brushed this off. I didn't even light up the DSC until I hit the driveway. Stay safe everyone.

Square setup at 255/35/19 with Sottozeros on the 437Ms here as well. I definitely don't like the stretch of the 255 sottozero on the rear, but can't complain about the grip. Much better than the MPSS on 666Ms anywhere below 50 degrees.

Man, I had to put on my Blizzaks in the dark yesterday.
My rear two are rotating backwards (they're directional). I got stuck on a hill near my house. Last year I had no problem. I think the tread may be low as well. |

Laugh it up buddy... Most years Thanksgiving is just fine. The way the weather is going though we might be having snow in September pretty soon.

I’ve been washing the car every 2nd day since I got it last week. I guess for the next few days I’ll get to see how Austin yellow looks dirty😁 |

That's definitely me. But in fairness most years thanksgiving weekend is just fine. I left work early yesterday to get home before the snow started around 8pm. Then proceeded to put on the snows in the dark. Pain in the ass but no way the Kuhmo 305 rears were going anywhere on any snow....

Only about 2cm here in Toronto, still haven't had a chance to see how the CS will do. Coming off 3 AWD cars.
I'm on 255/275 PA4 using replica 437M.

I was already thinking about making the change in late September. It's more the cold than the snow that I worry about. Dry traction below 50 degrees on the MPSS tires is virtually non-existent.

The commute home was nasty last night by me and thankfully I put my set on the day before. I'm running the BMW recommended setup and the car drove like a champ. My normal 20 minute commute took about 2.5 hours yesterday but I had virtually no issues up or down hills or on any corners and the car felt pretty good.
OEM 640M and Continental Winter Contact 255/40/18 squared all around. I used to run Blizzaks which were great in the snow but hated how the car drove with them. This is my first season with them and so far I'm impressed by these Conti's! |
