Is it okay to reset throttle adaptation many times?
Hello everyone, my 2018 M4 (EU) is very jerky when slowing down during downshifts. It feels like car wants to stop and brakes everytime it downshifts and you can feel the harsh shaking of gear change inside(it is like i am pushed forward).I reset the throttle adaptation and it completely fixes the problem for me.It starts happening again in few days after the reset. Is it okay to reset throttle adaptation so many times? i am hundred percent sure it is not psychological because difference is huge
Modifications done on the car - Primary and secondary cat delete.OPF and Cat delete software. (İ unplugged exhaust flaps so they are always open) Checked codes and there is not anything. |

I suggest you email PTF Support and ask. Resetting adaptations doesn't hurt anything but you shouldn't have jerkiness. Maybe PTF needs to remote in and check something out.
