Use blendmount on f80

My fellow f80 drivers. Need help/suggestions, I am planning on purchasing a thinkware f800 dual dash cam and valentine v1 radar. Would a blendmount be sufficient to use? I don't want my windshield to be cluttered with wires and stuff.

This is how I have mines set up. The only visible cable will be the one attached to the radar detector (not pictured) but I don't really notice it since it runs behind the rear view mirror. You can certainly mount the dash cam in the middle, right above the the radar detector. I have both hardwired so it might be a little harder to hide the cable if you're using a short cigarette plug.

I use a blend mount in my F80. I have been using them for several years (and vehicles) now and prefer it to any other mounting methods for the clean look. I have mine hardwired using a mirror tap cord.

Getting a Valentin 1 is like getting an iPhone 4S...

Escort Max 360 stole the idea of directional radar detection (once the patent expired) and really improved on it.

Also, to answer your question, blendmount is an amazing product. It really looks OEM.

On my 911 I have an old passport setup with separate front and rear sensors and panel hidden in ashtray, so it's a really clean install.

I would suggest doing that vs having anything on the windshield

Which type did you use? 006 or 007? And do you have pictures?

The Blendmount is for the Uniden radar detector. Model BNR-2130.

I have a BlendMount in my M4 and my wife has one in her M3. Highly recommended! Rock solid mount, low profile, easy to remove and remount the radar detector when parking in sketchy areas. Still effective in the position under the mirror. No more suction cups to come loose! A little pricey but worth every penny!

Used a blendmount for a while. Other than the cost, I didn't have any complaints.

Do you guys have issues with auto-dimming feature with the blend mount holding the radar so close to the rear view mirror?

I just installed mine for my escort iX and I love the clean look but I've lost auto-dimming.

Thanks in advance
