I discovered I still am unable to see the indicated running out of petrol warning light. I'm at zero again, and I'm afraid this level of stupidity will be passed on to my kids.

I forgot to mention the secret compartment. In the F83, go into the trunk and unlatch the door behind the rear seats. You can hide a large briefcase in the space there. I noticed this when I realized I was going to have to park in a sketchy part of town and would rather not take the briefcase into the place I was going. Not 100% thief proof, but most scumbags that break into car trunks will just look in plain sight and maybe under liftable trunk bottoms.

No cup holders in the rear, but there is a second power outlet under the glove box, near the center console.

The driver assistance systems (lane departure, collision warning, pedestrian, etc.) do not like the California heat! If the car sits outside in the heat on a hot day (90°+), warnings sound and those systems are disabled!

Yup! Have the SAME thing happen whenever I get into my M4 to start up after having sat outside in the heat...

+1. A requirement for me to get an M4 from my wife was to be able to fit a car seat in the back. To my surprise its much much roomier than my e46 coupe! Kids prefer daddy's new "race car"!

I found out this morning that there is a warning when the outside temperature drops to 37 degrees. Why 37? Seams like an odd temp and warn. Maybe it's setable and maybe I should rtfm. Beat ya to it.
