I have the factory belt buckle on, the connector is connected correctly, because if I remove the connector I get a secondary code.

I tried to clear all the codes with tool32 but one won't clear.

So far I coded all the following:

Occupancy sensor:
CIS_Beifaher: aktiv -> nicht_aktiv

Driver seat airbag:
Sitzairbag_Thorax_Fahrer: aktiv -> nicht_aktiv

Driver seat position sensor memory:
Sitzpositionsensorserkennung_Sitzmemory_Fahrer: aktiv -> nicht_aktiv

Coded all the memory settings to nicht_aktiv as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am having the same issue... were you able to sort this out?

Best way is to run ISTA then code out using E-Sys.

I made all the coding changes on e-sys and I downloaded tool32 to try and clear the last error code I have which is the "Driver Restraint System Malfunction". I do have the seatbelt receptacle properly plugged into the factory yellow connector but it seems like some people on this thread are still having this issue even after resetting everything with tool32? Hopefully, my warning lights will go away after I try using tool32... *fingers crossed*

Can this be done via bimmercode expert mode? I have a recaro pole position in my F30 would like to code out the restraint warning on dash.

Thanks

It’s just a tool to reset...
Your issue is not in clearing codes. Probably in coding or wiring.

I wonder if there are any codes I missed other than the 3 I made sure were done right...
I also double-checked to see if the connector is plugged in correctly but I can plug it out and plug it back in to see if that helps? LOL
I asked some dude who was having the same problem and he told me that I have to use tool32 because "the airbag module has to be reinitialized with the new settings, otherwise the errors get triggered again regardless of coding"
If none of these solves the issue, I might just go get it done at a shop for $50
I just wanted to try and solve this issue myself...

Bumping this.

Did anyone ever get it to work? I've coded out all seat-related airbag and belt codes. ISTA shows no airbag or seat belt faults whatsoever now, just missing seat modules (as expected, but these don't trigger ASCM codes as far as I know).

No seat belt or seat airbag contacts are plugged in.
Gurtstammer and Gurtkontakt - nicht_aktiv for both seats.
SBR for both seats - nicht_aktiv
Initwarning - nicht_aktiv
CIS_Beifaher - nicht_aktiv
Sitzairbag_Thorax_Fahrer & Sitzairbag_Thorax_Beifahrer - nicht_aktiv
Sitzpositionsensor_Beifahrer & Sitzpositionsensorserkennung_Sitzmemory_Fahrer - nicht_aktiv

I used Tool32 to reset it as well, but the car still shows driver and passenger restraint system faults...

The remaining errors are below:
