Sequential mirror blinker replacement f83

Hey all,
I could use some help. Purchased a set of these. Looked online for a video. I found some but for an older M's. I started the install got the mirror basically pulled apart but could not figure out how to get the factory lighting piece loose. Has anybody done this? If so, would you be willing to help.me out? Either talk me through it or swing by and help? I'm on the peninsula near Redwood City
