I found it best in slow traffic to avoid creeping forward when stuck at a light or heavy traffic when others creep forward. Using the low speed assist helps but you're still slipping and heating up the clutches in stop and go.

Have you changed your DCT fluid ever? If not, I would get that service done to see if it helps. For cars you plan to keep, do it every 50k miles.

I’m waiting for the kit. But I don’t think that’s the problem. Looks like lubrications in low rpm.

I made another test with the engine off more than 12 hours. And the sensor is showing higher values than normal.

I made a video:

I think is the temperature clutch sensor. But I don’t know what is that sensor.

You need to check width the ISTA+ like me. If the sensor is showing in the morning values different from ambient temperature

Is this sensor inside or outside of the transmission?

All fluid analysis for the DCT fluid points to it being an item that can easily last 80,90 even 100k+ miles before it needs to be serviced. I know someone who beat on their F80 at the track, w/ GTS transmission tune, who had everything well within normal averages when his DCT fluid was changed at 110k miles
