Question First gear is real low on 2020 F82 DCT manual mode

Notice sure about this but,is the first gear on the DCT really low, actually too low for my liking, like I just have to turn a corner from a Stop and before I finish the turn I am revving 4K,so I have to shift to 2nd.
Would having the Drive Logic in #2 position make things worse, maybe revving sooner,or all DCT's like that?Thank,H50

dude, just make one master post for all your questions instead of making 5 different posts for questions about your transmission and shifting.

I agree that I need to learn the car and I also agree that to learn, one has to ask questions.
Can you provide a link,as I can't find anything related to learning the DCT.Thanks,H50

Don’t be afraid of taking the car to redline - it is designed to be driven hard and repeatedly to redline! You still have a lot of rpm left it’s only at 4k rpm. Go to 7k rpm if you don’t want to go to redline.

Also, the F8x has a ton of low end torque so 2nd gear is useable even at low speeds and it’ll allow you to hold the gear longer and better control the rear end.

Drive logic doesn’t change the gearing, it mainly changes how fast the gear changes are, how much torque kick there is and how much clutch slip there is.
