Ordering '16 M4 Coupe, questions about M Performance parts.

Put in my order for a '16 M4 Coupe, Mineral White, Black. Was going to have port installed exterior carbon bits, but looks like I can get it a lot cheaper by ordering parts from getBMWparts.com and having dealer install (or do myself). Anyone have issues with that web site?

My dealer told me the only part they can install at the port is the m performance exhaust. I dont know if this is true or not...

I am curious of this as well. I was going to do black kidney grilles, CF mirror caps and the MPE. I was planning on adding to my order so they are installed at port or PDC and rolled into lease.

Just a heads up if you are doing ED you cannot roll them into your lease/port install. Sucks I know but some BS rule they have.

I have seen cars at the performance center waiting for delivery with bmw performance parts. Call your CA if he/she is any good they will know or call and check for you.

My sales guy, who seems pretty knowledgeable, has said all the M Performance stuff can be port installed, but even if he gives it to me at cost, it would cheaper for me to just buy them myself from getbmwparts.com and install myself or have his service guys do it.

All performance parts can be port installed. Typically, this can be done at no additional charge if you are OK with paying full MSRP for the part.

Normally M-Perf parts are dealer installed, but you can make special arrangements to have this done at the port. Port resources are limited so this will have to be coordinated with BMWNA.

I have a 2016 M4 on order and I'm having the full suit of M-Perf parts installed at the POE so the car is effectively done when I pick it up at the PDC...

it's a well known dealership, there's no issue at all.
