HUD and CarPlay Google Maps doesn't work?

Can someone pls confirm that Google Maps directions doesn't show up on heads-up display when using Apple CarPlay?

2020 M4 that came with CarPlay. Have not coded or done anything, btw.

Waze and Apple Maps work with HUD perfectly fine tho.

Apple maps doesn't work with my HUD and neither does google maps. Only one that works is the default navi. I don't use Waze.

Ah ok. Maybe I mixed up Apple Map with default Navi.

But makes sense that if Google Maps doesn't work then Apple Maps shouldn't also work. Thanks!

Yes, ACP will not be in HUD. If you download the bmw connected app and put the address in the app, it will send to the car and will display on the HUD.

There is also an option to "share" the navigation from Apple Maps -> BMW Navi, but I think in the end it still depends on the BMW Navi for live traffic and not your Apple Maps/Phone network.

I have Apple Mapps working all right on my BMW X5 HUD with Apple CarPlay,
Google Maps do not
