Paint Code for 513M wheels?

I picked up a set of 513M wheels recently and there was a small blemish on there from shipping. I had the wheel repaired and the color he used doesn't match.

I have searched high and low and can't find a paint code or color for these wheels? Has anyone found one? I even contacted getbmwparts.com and Evan said there is no color associated with these wheels, just states "light allow rims."

Worst case scenario is I get them powdercoated, but would rather not as I like the OEM color.

Thanks in advance.

Obviously, there is a color code for all BMW Wheels. However, BMW will give them to no one (including Dealers) as they want you to buy new wheels instead.

Put a BMW chip sample against it and you will find the tint is off.

And that is the reason the color is off.

The 513m is not Ferric Grey Metallic - A80

I just had it custom made locally. And tested it, way too dark.

I think this will match the gunmetal 219m perfectly. I'll do some testing next weekenk.

Awesome...definitely let me know if the 219m color will work. Thanks

I wonder if you ever figured out the correct color for your 513m rims. I'm in a similar situation. My parts guy says the color is A80 but that looks too dark.
I need to order a spray can so want to get it right! Thanks.

No I never found anything to match. I had the one offending wheel touched up. It doesn't match, but I am the only one that notices...I am about to powder coat them a dark gray, so it won't be an issue any longer.

The A80 looks too dark to me also. I contacted getbmwparts once and they said there was no known color for those wheels.

I mean what is the mystery here. Somewhere in Hungary there is a guy powder coating these rims. We know that he makes no decisions himself. Someone else orders and supplies the paint to the factory......
....why can't they just give a pdf to all the dealers with all the wheels and their colors!! Sounds simple....it is!!!

My expert parts guy called BMW NA directly and they officially told him the color is Ferric Grey A80. It's unfortunate it doesn't match as this makes it sound like there is no hope for a better match unless you get a really good custom match.
